Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator. Similar technologies include localStorage (browser storage used to persist preferences) and session storage.
2. How We Use Cookies and Local Storage
Lunvex Labs is designed to be as lightweight as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling. Below is an honest account of what this site currently uses:
Essential or functional storage
We use a single localStorage entry to remember your cookie consent preference:
- lunvex-cookie-consent (localStorage): set when you click "Accept" on our cookie notice. Stores the value "true" so the banner is not shown again. This is a functional preference, not a tracking cookie.
Beyond this, the Site itself does not set any first-party cookies or store any tracking identifiers.
Third-party and infrastructure cookies
The following third-party services may set cookies or similar identifiers as part of delivering the Site:
- Vercel (hosting platform): Vercel may set technical cookies or use edge network identifiers to route requests, maintain performance and prevent abuse. These are infrastructure-level and are not used for user tracking or advertising.
- Fonts and CDN assets: if any fonts or assets are loaded from third-party CDNs, those providers may record request metadata (IP address, timestamp) in their server logs. We aim to self-host assets where possible to minimise this.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, HubSpot, Intercom or other marketing or analytics platforms on this Site. If that changes, this policy will be updated and the cookie notice will be revised accordingly.
3. Why We Don't Need Full Cookie Consent for Essential Use
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and equivalent EU law, cookies that are "strictly necessary" for the functioning of a service do not require prior consent. Our single localStorage preference entry qualifies as functional rather than tracking. We nonetheless display a notice to be transparent and to give you control.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The following links explain how to manage cookies in the most common browsers:
To clear the Lunvex Labs cookie consent preference specifically, open your browser's developer tools, navigate to Application (Chrome/Edge) or Storage (Firefox), select Local Storage, find lunvexlabs.com, and delete the "lunvex-cookie-consent" entry. The notice will reappear on your next visit.
Note that disabling certain cookies or clearing storage may affect the way this Site or other websites function.
5. Changes to This Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy if we add new cookies, change our use of existing ones, or if legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
